Assalamualaikum wbt. For a first time, English Unit of General Studies Department , led by Madam Amy Safinah Cheong Abdullah had successfully organised the English Camp 2011. The event held on 14th week of academic calendar and most activities were done at the hall, and lecture hall of KPMBP. The participants were first semester students and had been divided to 15 groups, mixed up between Diploma in Accountancy and Diploma in Integrated Logistics Management.
5 slots had been planned by English lecturers to fulfill the objectives of this camp. Hands on and interesting activities were provided to ensure the students learn English with fun. Slots like Charade (Miss Akmal), Socialising (Mr. Saiful), Treasure Hunt (Miss Hemma, Miss Gee and Miss Nurul Hasidah) and Quick Lyricists Competition (Mr.Bayu and Mr. Joe) involved all skills needed in English like reading, writing, listening and speaking. At the end of the camp, every group must submit their scrap book named "From Nothing To Something" included their works during the activities. Madam Amy Safinah had given the briefing and also close the camp officially on last day of the camp. Group 11 was announced the best group based on their commitment in every activities during English Camp 2011.
