On April 14 2011, The PIP Drama Fest was held in KPMBP Hall. It was started by 9 pm and ended around 11.30 pm. 4 groups from 2 classes performed the drama based on the selected short stories. The students had prepared for this event since two weeks before the final performance.
The event was also attended by the Head Department of General Studies, Ustaz Wan Mukhtar Wan Muda, other English lecturers like Madam Amy Safinah Cheong Abdullah, Miss Hemma, Miss Nor Zehan, Miss Nurul Hasidah and Mr. Azalan Bayu. Since 9 pm, the hall was fully crowded by other students who came to watch the friends' perfomance. The results of each category were announced right after the last drama performance. "Life Folds On Its Own".
All the presents were given by Ustaz Wan Mukhtar who had stayed until the end of the event. "The Kiss" by Prof. Malachi Edwin Vethamani which was presented by PIP 1 won The Best Group for this semester. All judges satisfied with the performance but there are aspects to be improved like fluency during performance, deep understanding towards the short stories and many more.
